111 years ago, on this day, Alexandre Michon, a Bakuvian photographer of a Russo-French descent shot what is today regarded as the first Azeri film - The Oil Gush In Balakhany.
Irony is that it is 25th day two Azeri video-bloggers, Emin Milli and Adnan Hajizada are in jail for fake 'hooliganism' charges.
